Itinerary

Lead by nature and hiking expert, small-group hike to Easily accessible waterfall on Oahu (45 Ft). Waimea waterfall hike trail is a 1.5-mile hike over mostly flat, paved ground, surrounded by magnificent botanical gardens and historical sites, which concludes with a 45-foot waterfall. The hike is a cultural experience best enjoyed when time is taken to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Swimming at the waterfall is dependent on daily waterfall conditions. Lifeguards make the swim call for the day at 9 am.

Shuttle transportation available from Hale Ho'ike to Wailele waterfall turns around at additional cost, not included in the tour price. The first shuttle starts at 9:45 am.

We had great weather and our private tour guide was the best. I would recommend the private tour guide for Waimea Falls to everyone.

Nice hike to falls. Beautiful gardens with everything labeled. About an hour hike. Falls were very small. Paid $20 for 2 to get in. Must wear life vest to get in water. Vests are all gross/moldy. Rocks are mossy, so it's very slippery. You could pay for shuttle so you don't have to walk.

My favorite day on Oahu! The walk through the gardens is wonderful! Go early in the day if you can - you will beat the tour buses. We got out tickets online the day before and got right in. At the falls you are given a life jacket - you have to wear one and it makes it more fun to play in the pool under the falls without worry. You can rent a locker or just leave your items on a bench. We chose the latter and our things were fine. There are changing stalls at the falls too and a shower. Spend time in the water! It might seem cold at first but you get used to it quickly. I went and stuck my head under the falls and loved it! How often can you do something like that?! The employee at the falls asked what we were going to do after our swim. We told him we were going to explore the park. He was glad. He said too many race up to the falls, get in and then race back down without seeing the gardens. They are truly spectacular! Colorful flowers everywhere! Take all the little side paths - this place is wonderful to explore!

Waimea Valley & Falls Park is a much see. Gives a large number of options to help with admission fees. 30 minute walk in one of the most beautiful & well kept botanical garden. Do offer shuttles for those that would have a trouble walking. Has the best archeological sites. End is a beautiful waterfall where you can swim in the pool of fresh water. Nice food stations & gift shop. Farmers market of local favors on Thursdays great to be a part of. Enjoy.

Our tour guide Kenneth did a fabulous job, prompt pick up, very knowledgeable and great sense of humor. It was an enjoyable trip. We were very disappointed that there was a trickle of water coming over the falls and we were unable to get in the water, as we were told the day before to wear comfortable shoes and our swimsuits. Excellent tour. Neil was our driver & he was outstanding. He was very Knowledgeable of the area. New clean comfortable van. The scenery was unbelievably beautiful, lots of stops to take great pictures. The cactus garden was amazing. Stopped for locally made donuts. The beaches were nice although we didn’t stop to swim. The last overlook at the state park was wonderful even in the rain. To say we were more than pleased is an understatement. I would 100% recommend this company. My husband would rate this more than 5 star if he could.
